Ciel — Solo exhibition
Wilde, Paris
Curator : Chase Doolan
2026
Ciel is a solo exhibition presented as part of Minéral, végétal, Animal, an exhibition cycle bringing together four solo exhibitions and one group exhibition.

Ciel extends a research into salt as a vector of transmutation. Through its ritual uses across different cultures, salt is brought into relation with the sun, the moon and the stars, understood as forces of circulation, transformation and regeneration.
The exhibition brings together several series in which each material engages its own process of transformation: Paintings in Tears, in which Dead Sea water prevents the paint from setting and sets the copper back into motion until it regains its green; Smoke Drawings, made with palo santo smoke, in which the smoke freely translates the gesture onto paper, leaving ephemeral traces; and Flame Paintings, where beeswax and fire alternate between states of melting and solidification.
At the centre of the exhibition, Evaporation Structure, composed of terracotta vessels inspired by ancient containers associated with salt production, sets these materials and their different states of transformation into circulation. Activated by the performance Femme en salaison, the installation becomes a space of passage where the body, salt and female cyclicity extend an ancient memory.
