Coquelicot : Circles of Forgiveness

During the residency, I continued my research into mourning, memory and the transformative processes of matter, developed through the figure of the poppy. Here, the poppy emerges as a carrier of memory, opening a space of passage between mourning and regeneration.
In this series, the circle and the cavity become units of measure capable of connecting different scales, from the poppy to the cosmos. The works return toward the sky as a persistent point of reference, where memory and transformation continue to circulate.
The ten circles thus form a reflection on forgiveness, understood as a practice of transformation.
